Trade Quality Filters
The "don't trade for the sake of trading" layer. Signals that fail a filter are logged with the reason instead of executed.
Sessions are built in per pattern (most trade London/New York hours only; the opening-range pattern runs 9:30–12:00 ET). The engine also stands down entirely on weekends.
Risk Guardrails
Break & retest: when a level breaks, the engine places a limit order back at the level and only enters if price returns to retest it (order expires in ~3 hours if the retest never comes). Applies to every breakout- and pattern-based setup; momentum and mean-reversion setups enter at market since they have no level to retest.
